I’m a UX Writer and Conversation Designer based in Austin, TX. I got my BA in English Creative Writing from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I was a founding teacher at a local middle school in Austin where I taught for a year. My UX journey stemmed from my mutual interest in writing and software development. I spent two years learning how to code before I realized I enjoyed the design side of things more!
I recently worked in a med-tech company called YAPI which creates software for dental practices. I was a part of the CX team and I would spend my day helping dentists design email campaigns and templates to use for their practice. I mostly worked with HTML and CSS, but applied UX Design principles relating to usability and accessibility daily!
