This challenge allowed me to work with various voices and tones. While writing the microcopy for each modal I had to remember what the voice and tone of that app should be. When I was writing for the parking app, I had to keep in mind that the user may frustrate when seeing our message. A user using a clinic app who receives a message for pending test results may feel anxious. It put into perspective for me how microcopy connects with human emotion. As a company, you never want your product to incite negative emotions in your users. Realizing this helped make the microcopy easier to write, as it was a matter of keeping the message clear and empathetic.
